For a temperature range 50° ÷ 550°C performances (movements, working pressure, n° of cycles) must be reduced by applying the relevant coefficients (See document N205 Derating factors”).
For a temperature range higher than 550°C, please contact our Technical Department.
SPERICHAL LATERAL EXPANSION JOINTS WITH FIXED FLANGES
The Spherical lateral expansion joint is a type of expansion joint used to absorb only lateral movements. This type is distinguished by the use of a series of tie rods to resist the bottom thrust generated by fluid pressure, to which is added a group of spherical washers necessary to allow lateral movement of the terminals in each direction. Spherical lateral expansion joint are not able to compensate axial movements of the pipeline. The bellows are welded to two flanges.
Correction of static offsets and compensation for thermal expansion and movements. Superheated water, steam, diathermic oil, gas and inflammable fluid lines, gas and steam turbines, exhaust gas lines.
PED-certified in accordance with the mandatory regulation 2014/68/EU.
A type approval (TYPE APPROVAL) for marine applications can be applied if requested by the customer.
