For stainless steel: -200° ÷ 550°C
For expansion joints with weld ends in carbon steel -20° ÷ 350°C.
For a temperature range 50° ÷ 550°C performances (movements, working pressure, n° of cycles) must be reduced by applying the relevant coefficients (See document N205 Derating factors”).
For a temperature range higher than 550°C, please contact our Technical Department.
UNIVERSAL DOUBLE EXPANSION JOINTS WITH WELD END
CHARACTERISTICS:
A universal expansion joint is one containing two bellows joined by a common connector for the purpose of absorbing any combination of the three basic movements (axial, lateral and angular). A universal expansion joint is used in cases to accomodate greater amounts of lateral movement than can be absorbed by a single expansion joint. The bellows is welded to weld ends.
Correction of static offsets and compensation for thermal expansion and movements. Superheated water, steam, diathermic oil, gas and inflammable fluid lines, gas and steam turbines, exhaust gas lines.
PED-certified in accordance with the mandatory regulation 2014/68/EU.
A type approval (TYPE APPROVAL) for marine applications can be applied if requested by the customer.
